AirBackpack – Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy

At AirBackpack, we believe premium design should come with peace of mind. Our travel gear — including the AirBackPack, AirSuitcase, and accessories — is built to handle real-world travel. That’s why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all eligible products.

This warranty is designed to be fair, sustainable, and protect both you and us — ensuring our gear performs at the highest standard for years.

SECTION 1: WHAT’S COVERED

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Broken or defective zippers, buckles, or straps
  • Malfunctioning vacuum system (compression valve, pump)
  • Seams, stitching, or structure failure under normal use
  • Handle or wheel issues (for AirSuitcase)
  • Damage to interior lining or padding due to defect

We reserve the right to repair, replace, or deny claims at our discretion. If your original item is unavailable, we’ll send a comparable replacement (style or color may differ).

One replacement per order — once a product has been replaced or repaired, it is no longer eligible for further claims.

SECTION 2: HOW TO REGISTER YOUR WARRANTY

To be eligible, you must register your product within 30 days of receiving it.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your warranty is approved and registered in our system.

SECTION 3: WHAT’S NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic wear and tear (fading, scuffs, surface scratches)
  • Airline or transit damage (crushing, dents, tears)
  • Water exposure or moisture damage not due to defects
  • Improper storage (extreme temperatures, heavy loads)
  • Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or modification
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Damage caused by third-party services (e.g., unauthorized repairs)

SECTION 4: WHO IS ELIGIBLE

  • You must be the original purchaser or gift recipient
  • Your product must be purchased directly from airbackpack.store or an authorized AirBackpack partner
  • You must have registered your product within the 30-day window

Unregistered products are not eligible for this warranty.

SECTION 5: HOW TO FILE A CLAIM

If your product is registered and develops a defect, follow these steps:

  1. Email support@airbackpack.store
  2. Include:
    – Order number
    – Photos/videos clearly showing the defect
    – Brief explanation of how the issue occurred
  3. Wait for a response (within 7–10 business days)

Do not ship anything back without written authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be processed and will be held at the sender’s expense.

SECTION 6: WARRANTY OUTCOME OPTIONS

If your claim is approved, we may offer:

  • Product repair (when feasible)
  • Replacement product (same or equivalent model)
  • Partial refund or store credit (if no replacement is available)
  • Discount toward a future purchase
  • Reimbursement for local repair (up to $25 USD with prior approval and receipt)

SECTION 7: COST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You pay for shipping your product to us
  • We pay for return shipping if your claim is approved
  • If denied, you may pay return shipping + an optional inspection fee (max $20 USD)

SECTION 8: PROCESSING TIME

  • Normal processing time: 3–4 weeks
  • During high volume periods: up to 6–8 weeks

SECTION 9: FRAUD OR ABUSE

Abusive or fraudulent claims will lead to:

  • Immediate voiding of warranty
  • Suspension from future warranty privileges
  • No compensation or service

SECTION 10: WARRANTY LENGTH – “Lifetime” Defined

“Lifetime” refers to the expected lifespan of the product — defined as 10 years from the original date of purchase under normal usage.

Warranty claims after this 10-year window will not be honored. Proof of purchase is required to validate this timeframe.
